our long long journey

tuesday
(please be prepared for an omg-ly long post.)
spent practically the whole day with su.
we walked a lot.
& we went a lot of different places, some of which were exceptionally unusual.

place number 1: temasek poly.
bus-ed to tp to meet su. went to one of the foodcourt & we had lunch there. both of us ate salad, so healthy right. after lunch, we went over to the computer lab. main purpose was only to blog hop, but we ended up yahoo-ing for places to go. then came the result of some gallery on singapore that's somewhere in tanjong pagar. it sounded interesting to us, so we decided to go see see, lol.

place number 2: bugis street
halfway walking to the bus stop, su remembered that she wanted to go bugis. so we took 23 down. alighted at sim lim area & walked over to bugis street. we went there because.. su wanted to see how the bag i want to buy looks like? lol. it was a wasted trip, cause that particular shop seems to be hiding from us. the weather was freaking hot, staying in bugis street was simply torturous so we left after awhile.

place number 3: the ura centre
train-ed down to tanjong pagar. & with our good sense of direction, we found the ura centre without getting lost. i think the gallery is called 'singapore city gallery'. they have all these mini structures of buildings. took lots of photos & enjoyed the air-con before leaving. we went exploring about, taking which ever route that we felt like taking.

place number 4: china square
i guess we combed most part of tanjong pagar before we saw this shopping mall, which is the china square. lol, i didn't know that there's such a shopping mall in singapore. the mall was quite empty, nothing much except for shops selling toys & anime stuff. su went to 'tong' those capsules. she spent $14 on it, cause she got all her female classmates one as christmas gift. (so nice of su right. i hope her classmates appreciate it!) i helped su to 'tong', & you know what? half (faint) of the keycaps we got were blue in colour. i wonder if we should consider it as lucky or unlucky, to get a few blue ones in a straight row lol. slacked awhile at some swing, then we left china square.

place number 5: china town
walked & walked. & we ended up at china town mrt station! so we actually walked two mrt stations, from tanjong pagar to china town, aren't we pro. didn't stay at china town for long, we just headed straight to take train to city hall.

place number 6: city link/marina square
reached city hall, then went hunting for an atm machine. we actually forgot where it was, lol. su withdrew money, then we walked back to city link. finally, gelare! dinner was great, & sinful. when we left, su took the drink along cause we haven't finish it. guess what? she brought along the spoon that was in the cup! lmao.

place number 7: esplanade area
made our way to the esplanade area to slack. took damn lots of photos, haha. i think we sat there pretty long.

place number 8: back to marina square
like the previous time, we went prize stage to look at people play. these people are like so lucky, caught so many stuffed toys. went arcade, saw a few haisians.

place number 9: penisular area/raffles city
didn't want to go home so we walked around. went penisular there & su bought something that she was supposed to cannot buy. slacked outside raffles city before going home.
